Cognition Consulting AB (Ltd.) was started in February 2010 to service three needs, particularly in the logistics industry:

General management consulting.
Process management.
Organization development.
Sounding board to management teams and executives.
Manager for hire.
Short or medium term assignments to manage biz units suffering a temporary lack of leadership.
Board membership.
Neutral and external board member when an outside view is required.
Cognition Consulting is a one-man operation (me, Robert Skoog), based on more than 36 years of experience in the logistics business. I have had the opportunity to gain experience from both the daily operational run-of-the-mill activities as well as strategic management concerns and considerations in local markets and also globally.

My background is primarily from airfreight but the management assignments over the years have covered so diverse responsibilities as marketing & sales, safety & security, process management, IT, business & product development, international partnerships, electronic distribution services, e-Freight, General Manager in international forwarding and more. It also includes many years of board representation and other contributions to various transportation industry forum.

Processes being very similar regardless of branch, the overall knowledge gained is applicable to most logistics companies, in particular on a management and principal level.
